I transferred to this school in January of 2024. One of the best parts of transferring was the staff was very helpful, always pointed me in the right direction and went out of their way to make sure I was doing ok since I was a senior who transferred halfway through my senior year and knew no one. The worst part about this school is the students, especially underclass men. They were always skipping classes and never where they were supposed to be and administrators trying to locate them would disrupt classes because they would call for these classes over the intercom system. I think what I would like to see change is not as many students roaming around the school skipping classes.

I transferred to Greater Nantico*ke Area before my sophom*ore year. The most shocking difference from my previous schools was the level of violence and drug use among the student body. Fights occur daily. Several students were expelled for drug use on campus. Extra-curricular activities have proven difficult. Even the most popular sports teams struggle to attract students. Extra-curriculars outside of sports are almost non-existent.
There are too many small and exclusive friend groups. But, if you find you clique, your group will help immensely.
I would like to see our school resource officers be more proactive. They should listen to the tips they are provided by the student body. There is no doubt a safer school provides a better learning environment.

I stared going to go to GNA back in 2017 when I was in 5th grade but over the years the violence has gotten so bad and intolerable i'm just malcontent with the school explicitly the middle school that school is literally a prison and the security officers in the high school and the middle school are terrible.
